Well I figured after living in Arizona 6 years is was about time to visit that big hole in the ground everyone keeps talking about, and of course pay a visit to the Flintstones on the way. I must say it was really worth the trip as it truly is more than just a big hole…….FACTS: The Grand Canyon is 277 miles (446 km) long, up to 18 miles (29 km) wide and attains a depth of over a mile (6,093 feet or 1,857 meters)
