It was the summer of 1978, Jenna had just graduated 8th grade in Bullhead City, Arizona. On the weekends she would often spend time with her dad going to a small old western town called Oatman. It was about half an hour drive from her house. The town was an old mining town where they had staged gunfight shows each weekend, wild burros roamed the streets in hopes a tourist would feed them carrots or little tidbits of hay. Jenna’s dad liked to go to Oatman and hang out in the Little Brown Jug, a small bar owned by a friend named George Bannon (God rest his soul). While her dad was hanging out with his friends in the bar she would roam around Oatman, she had made several friends up there, (back then there were kids who lived in Oatman), they would all just hang out or hike around the hills. Chris had just graduated from the 8th grade in N. Hollywood, California. Several times a year Chris and his dad would make the trip from California to Oatman, Arizona. They liked to go there to get away from the city life, they would camp and hang out with friends and the gunfighters, hike and ride their dirt bikes around the hills.

One weekend that summer, Chris and Jenna ended up in Oatman at the same time, Both had mutual friends and that is how they met. They became quite an item in Oatman, even now in 2011 Duke, one of the gunfighters, still remembers them as an item. They kept a long distance relationship going on over the next 2.5 years only seeing each other when Chris and his dad would make the trip to Oatman from California.

In 1980 Chris and Jenna split up, guess the long distance relationship and less visits to Oatman by Chris and his dad had taken its toll. So Chris decided it was time to move on. That was the last time they saw one another. They led separate lives, Jenna had 2 children, Chris adopted his 2 grandchildren. Jenna often wondered what ever became of Chris. Then one day in November 2009 something told Jenna to try and locate Chris again after all these years, so she went to myspace.com and entered his name and to her surprise up popped Chris!

She was so happy to see his picture again, so she sent a message to him. A few days later she got a response from her message to Chris and he left his phone number to call. Excitedly Jenna dialed the number, Chris answered and well the rest is history.

Chris and Jen were together once again!!!
